COMMERCIAL LITIGATION
We practice in all New York State and Federal Courts
both at the trial and appellate level, handling
matters in all major upstate New York cities and New
York City. We represent large and small clients
including private business corporations, banking
institutions, contractors, partnerships, and family
and individual businesses.
BANKRUPTCY
In Bankruptcy we are admitted to practice in all
bankruptcy courts throughout New York State and have
22 years of experience representing creditors and
debtors in both negotiating work outs and litigating
disputes before the Bankruptcy Court. We file
voluntary petitions, represent creditors and debtors
and work closely with bankruptcy trustees regarding
bankruptcy issues in a variety of personal and
business contexts.
COLLECTION MATTERS
We handle collection matters in all courts and
represent individuals, corporations, LLC’s, and
partnerships in organizing a realistic approach to
the collection of accounts, with collection
techniques crafted to meet our individual clients
needs.
CONSTRUCTION
We represent owners, contractors, sub-contractors,
and material men in construction issues including
the filing and perfection of mechanics liens,
contract rights and dispute resolution.
JUDGMENTS
We represent all institutional entities and
individuals with respect to the enforcement of
judgments. Both attorneys and support staff are
engaged in pursuing collection of any and all
judgments with asset searches, use of restraining
notices, information subpoena’s, and deposition of
judgment debtors. We utilize methods provided by law
to levy on real and personal property, obtain
installment payments, and sue for fraudulent
conveyance where appropriate.
CIVIL LITIGATION
We represent clients in all types of litigated
matters for breach of contract, actions on
guarantees, partition of real property, and landlord
tenant disputes.
CORPORATE AND SECURITIES
Our attorneys and paralegals provide services
ranging from simple corporate organizations to
mergers and, alternatively, dissolutions and
succession planning. We are able to incorporate,
organize and counsel a corporation partnership or
limited liability company to cost efficiently create
the best corporate entity to serve the clients
day-to-day needs.
MATRIMONIAL AND FAMILY LAW
We offer a specialized experienced practice in
matrimonial and family law representing individuals
and families in the often difficult issues of
divorce, separation, custody and visitation, spousal
support, child support, prenuptial agreements, and
adoptions.
LITIGATION
Vigorous representation in both the trail and
appellate level characterize our approach to
litigation. We prosecute all types of litigation and
represent clients in virtually all types of business
and personal disputes.
ESTATES AND TRUSTS
Our professional services include preparation of
Wills trusts and estate plans, preparation of
advanced directives including powers of attorney and
healthcare proxies, trust and estate litigation in
Surrogates Court and preparation and settlement of
accountings for executors and trustees.
GENERAL BUSINESS REPRESENTATION
In consulting new clients, we typically obtain the
clients goals and objectives about their business
and then advise clients about which form of business
organization is best suited to their unique strategy
as best suited to achieving their goals.
RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE
We represent buyers and sellers throughout the
closing process from signing the contract to the
delivery of the deed at closing. We help review or
clients contracts and mortgage commitments,
negotiate inspection issues, update and examining
abstracts of title, and attend closing with our
clients. We also assist our clients with title
insurance as we are examining counsel for a major
title insurance company.
CRIMINAL DEFENSE
We represent clients in criminal defense in all
courts state wide with emphasis on D.W.I. defense.
